Support & Help Center

This page covers common questions about accounts, markets and event-linked perps on Predk. It does not replace our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy or Disclaimer.
1. Accounts & Sign-in
How do I create an account?
You can create an account by clicking Sign in / Sign up in the header or the mobile account tab. Predk uses Privy for authentication, which allows sign-in with:
- Email-based accounts
- Social logins (e.g. Google, where enabled)
- Wallet-based access for supported wallets
Do I need a seed phrase to use Predk?
No seed phrase is required to start using the interface. Wallets and keys are managed via Privy. For on-chain trading integrations, you should still treat any wallet you use as sensitive and follow good security practices.
I can't log in / my session looks stuck.
If the login modal doesn't appear or seems stuck:
- Refresh the page and try again.
- Make sure your browser allows third-party cookies / pop-ups for the site.
- Try a different browser or incognito window to rule out extensions.
2. Markets & Settlement
What are Predk markets?
Predk focuses on yes / no markets and related structures around world events: elections, macro data, crypto milestones, AI benchmarks and local city or regulatory moves.
How are markets resolved?
Each market is tied to a specific resolution rule and reference sources (e.g. official election results, government statistics, or clearly defined public datasets). The goal is to keep resolution:
- Objective and documented
- Transparent about data sources
- As robust as possible to minor edge cases
Final settlement rules will be documented on each live market once on-chain trading is enabled.
Can I request a new market?
Yes. You can propose a new market via the Create page. We prioritize markets that:
- Have clear and verifiable resolution criteria,
- Are relevant to crypto, macro, AI or local rails,
- Are not obviously illegal or restricted in key regions.
3. Event Perps & Leverage
What are event-linked perps?
Event perps are perpetual contracts tied to event probabilities (for example, BTC hitting a level by a date, or CPI crossing a threshold). Funding is designed to move with the implied odds of the event.
Are perps live today?
The Perps page currently presents a product and interface preview. Any rollout of real trading will depend on technical, legal and partner readiness. Always refer to the Disclaimer for risk disclosures.
How does leverage work?
Leverage numbers on the site indicate target design parameters (for example, up to x50 on certain BTC-linked perps). The actual available leverage, margin rules and liquidations will depend on concrete implementation and may differ from the early design.
4. Local Markets (PH, VN & others)
What are "local" markets?
Local markets highlight events in specific cities or countries such as Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Singapore, Hong Kong and others. Examples include:
- City-level crypto adoption and ranking,
- Local regulatory sandboxes or pilots,
- Regional trading rails and FX corridors.
Are local markets treated differently?
Local markets follow the same core principles: clear resolution criteria and verifiable sources. However, they may rely more heavily on local data (regulators, exchanges, industry reports). Availability may depend on regional rules.
5. Technical Issues
The site looks broken or very slow.
Try the following steps:
- Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R).
- Clear site cache and cookies and retry.
- Test on another browser or device.
- Check if other sites are slow, which may indicate a network issue.
Wallet or Privy modal doesn't open.
Browser extensions, ad blockers or strict privacy settings may interfere with wallet connections or the Privy modal. Try:
- Disabling suspicious extensions temporarily,
- Allowing pop-ups / redirects for predk.com,
- Using an incognito/private window.
Is there a status page?
A dedicated status page is planned as the protocol and UI mature. In the meantime, we will communicate major incidents or maintenance via official social channels where appropriate.
6. Risk, Safety & Eligibility
What risks should I be aware of?
Prediction markets and event-linked perps are high risk. You can lose some or all of the value you commit to any position. Risks include market volatility, leverage, smart-contract vulnerabilities, oracle failures and regulatory changes.
You should read the Disclaimer carefully and never use funds you cannot afford to lose.
Who is allowed to use Predk?
Eligibility may depend on your jurisdiction, age, applicable laws and future geofencing. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Predk is lawful where you reside. If you are subject to sanctions or other restrictions, you should not use the service.
